Hi friends in this blog, I will be telling you about beautiful towns,
parks, beaches and many places near Boston
Be it a student or a working professional, in a metropolitan city
like Boston where things happen at a fast pace, sometimes life can get
stressful. At times there is so much happening around and work, that even after
working from Monday to Friday, you don't realize how fast the weekend gets over
and then Monday is knocking on the door again. Hence, in order to recharge
yourself, I believe that sometimes, one needs to spend some time away from the
city. Like a weekend gateway. I have noticed that going out of town, somewhere quiet
and peaceful, closer to nature actually works. And as far as I know, that there
are some famous beautiful places, parks and towns not very far away from
Boston, where the beautiful scenery and surroundings will make you feel fresh
and help you change your batteries.
1) Halibut Point State Park
Address – Gott Avenue Rockport, MA 01966
This
state park was once a granite quarry farm, and later this was converted into a
State Park by the government. The place has a large variety of flora and fauna.
This park is in Rockport. It is a very good place for hiking and the scenery is
beautiful. People can download the self-guided walking brochures from the
website and explore the place on their own. One of the main attractions of this
place is the Observation Tower, which was used as a fire tower in World War
two. You can even climb this 60-foot tower and enjoy the panoramic view from
the top. The Halibut Point State Park is one-hour drive on the north of Boston
and it is the perfect place for relaxation. After visiting the Park, you can
walk the in Rockport, which is a town famous for various art forms. The

are two trails to get to the waterfall, one from New York state side and the
other from Massachusetts side, with parking facilities in both. The trail from
the Massachusetts side is shorter and harder. It is a must go place for nature
lovers. Also, the water here is very clean. Here are some tips for
