How To Prepare The First Prom In The United States

When I was young, I dreamed one day I grow up and have the ability to do ANYTHING.

College & University are the dreaming places for students. We can meet more diverse friends, join a great party, have a relationship, etc.

I got my first prom in the United States when I was a freshman in the graduate school because my country seldom has a prom in the university. The prom was hosted by the TSA (Taiwanese Students Association) and been held on the campus. I was really excited about prom because I never dress it up seriously for the party.

Let me tell you my prom experience, I divide into 5 steps to help you prepare the prom party.

Step 1. Prepare the suitable dress for yourself

Prom Girl provides various type dress for the prom. You can purchase online, or go to store shopping, such as Macy, Marshall, and so on. The dress is always a big focus in the party, especially you don’t want to wear the same dress as others.

Step 2. Find a good partner (Ask the person you’re interested in)

Don’t be afraid to ask the person you are interested in because the chance will not always be there. It’s a good opportunity to meet the new friends, even have a memorable relationship.

Step 3. Wear a comfortable, but elegant heels

The heel makes the woman’s body proportion perfect. BUT, I do not suggest you wear the expensive and uncomfortable heels that may make your foot lose feel. Wearing the elegant and comfortable heels that you can stand whole night and move well.

Step 4. Wear the contact lenses, makeup, and dress up

Makeup is difficult for some people who never do this in the daily, but girls always learn to make up fast. You can check the YouTube or Instagram to learn the quick makeup skills. However, don’t forget that confident woman has always been the most beautiful. Dress up and be confident, then go to the prom with your partner.

Step 5. Take memorable picture with new/old friends

Prom is the best place to take hundreds picture, because of the dress, the decoration, and the friends. Nothing is important than the youth memory. Don’t forget to take pictures with your friends and enjoy the great night.
