Hi Bostonian!!!
In this occasion, I want to share some "Oriental", "Yummy" Asian restaurant in New York City, as our neighbors which only located 4 hours away from Boston. You can travel there by bus, train, or even by driving your own car. For those Asian people that part of the Boston's diversity these recommended restaurants are the place if you want to try the best food in town.

Nobu
40 W 57th Street or 195 Broadway
Japanese food is one of popular food all around the world. Going to Nobu you have the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Japanese taste. This restaurant is pretty famous in New York City as one of the favorite places for the local residents. It serves fusion Japanese food, which combines the freshness of Japanese local ingredients with some western touch on those dishes. It has a lot of appetizing dishes such as tempura, miso, and some seafood menus. But every time I visit them, I could not resist the delicious Kobe dumpling. For me, it is one of their great menus of all time. The meat is very tender and it easily melts once in your mouth, you will never regret every bite of it. It is better to make a reservation for your visit otherwise you will need to wait in line before you can dine it or the worst you have to visit them the other time.
Hakkasan
311 W 43rd St, New York, NY 10036
Hakkasan Restaurant is one of the Michelin star award-winning restaurants in town which offers modern Cantonese cuisine. They offer not only good entrées but also luscious-sweetened dessert. Besides New York City, this restaurant has a lot of branches which located in other 12 locations all around the world. Their location in New York is pretty unique and I can say it is "invisible" to recognize it from the outside if it is actually a Michelin star restaurant. One of the good new for those who live in Indonesia, Hakkasan will open their very first restaurant in Indonesia in the first semester of 2018.
Pure Thai Cookhouse
766 9th Ave #2, New York, NY 10019
If you are on the budget traveling, pure thai is one of the best options you got to get a good food with a good deal. Pricing is one of their point of value since menu in this restaurant is quite affordable. The restaurant serves a Thailand food which is has a unique taste and will give you a "Thai-western" sensation. However, the ambiance of the restaurant is quite noisy with loud music that playing nonstop. So, if you want to relax while enjoying food this is might be not the best place that you should go.
Jing Fong Chinatown
20 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10013
If you are dim sum lovers, Jing Fong is one of the best dim sum restaurants that you can get in New York City. The fact that the price is not too expensive is one of the reason that they are never running out of the customer. There are a lot of choices of dim sum, up to 100 varieties combining the traditional Chinese dim sum and some fusion dim sum menu. Not only that, they also serve some others traditional Chinese dishes which you will love.
Upi Jaya
7604 Woodside Ave, Elmhurst, NY 11373
One of the must things to do in New York is to visit Indonesian Restaurant. For people that coming from this country, it is very hard to find such a restaurant that offers a "good-taste" Indonesian dishes, Especially in Boston. Upi Jaya serves the best traditional Indonesian food which for me as Indonesian is still quite far from the original taste that i can get back in my home country, but it is worth to fulfill the "need" of having a good Indonesian meal. Even though the price is quite expensive, but you definitely can taste the best from the best food from them.
