As a girl, I cannot give up any delicious food, especially for the dessert. There is a saying that girls always have two stomachs, one's for the normal meal and the other is for the dessert.
I have four dessert/brunch store I'd recommend to you cause it's the best dessert I think in the Boston area. If you have another dessert store that you'd like to share with me, I would so appreciate your sharing.
La Colombe
It’s the Philadelphia’s renowned artisanal coffee roaster supplies beans to some of the City’s top restaurants including Daniel and Le Bernardin and has finally opened in Boston area.
In the store, the place is just about as good as it gets! It has a spacious place located in the front of the South Station. The food is on-point and the Espresso is strong and smooth. There have two stores in Boston area. I had been to the first store that near the South Station.

Tatte Bakery & Café
This is my FAVORITE brunch in Boston. Everything is delicious but be prepared for a surprisingly heavy meal. Many items are soaked with tasty things that are buttery, especially the sandwiches. A couple lighter items I enjoy the Traditional Shakshuka. (I highly recommend this one)
(Shakshuka: Traditional North African dish with tomato sauce, bell pepper, eggs and feta cheese served with toasted challah bread)
In the store, they offer various desserts based on the fresh seasonal fruits. I had tried all of them, I think the tatte with fresh berry is nice. (Also, the hot point in the store) Besides, Tatte Bakery uses the Stumptown Coffee. It tastes smoothly I have never done before, but the iced drink sizes are all pretty small for the price.
Menu: breakfast/lunch, brunch, pastry & dessert, bread, and gluten friendly
Price: $$
Location: Boston, Cambridge, and Brookline (Near the MBTA)
Time: Mon-Fri 7AM-8PM & Sat 8AM-8PM & Sun 8AM-7PM
My first time has been to this store because of its logo. Definitely, the logo is so cute. If your ever in Boston and you’re looking for a treat, I'd like to recommend that you check Blackbird. Blackbird is a small shop nestled in a small mini-mart.
The chocolate one is a little heavy, but the fruity flavors are the best in my opinion. Even don’t forget to try its coffee and ice cream that really fit with its donuts. The location may not be as easy to find out as that of Starbucks.
Blackbird Doughnuts is dedicated to creating unique gourmet doughnuts from scratch. It’s the only artisanal doughnut shop in Boston that bakes on site! It aims to take the pastry craft to the next level by combining interesting flavors with classic favorites while using as many natural and locally sourced ingredients as possible. Blackbird Doughnuts is an exciting addition to The Gallows Group.
Menu: doughnuts, cake doughnuts, mini doughnuts, coffee, and ice cream
Price: $$
Location: Boston, Fenway
Time: Mon-Fri 7AM-6PM & Sat-Sun 8AM-6PM
Blue Bottle Coffee officially debuts in Massachusetts on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018. Blue Bottle’s beans are roasted daily in a new facility in Bushwick, which is why the company is able to expand into Massachusetts: Blue Bottle vows to sell coffee within 48 hours of roasting, “so you can experience our coffee at the absolute summit of deliciousness.”
When you mention the coffee shop, there is a popular and modern coffee brand – Blue Bottle Café. With the simple logo, it has been known in the worldwide. I love the New Orleans coffee that tastes smooth and strong coffee flavor.
The brick and mortar of Blue Bottle Café only 1,400-square foot café and has 22 seats. So, if you want to stay in the store may need to come earlier.
Menu: pastry & dessert, coffee.
Price: $$
Location: Harvard Square
Time: Mon-Sun 7AM-7PM
I'm still trying to explore more fantastic dessert in Boston, if you have any good recommendations, I'll thank you a lot. 💔
