Shopping! Where Should I Go

YAFENG CHEN

No matter you are international student or traveler, shopping would be one of important things for a newcomer. However, I believe that many newcomers only go to a couple stable shopping areas in Boston. Don't worries, let me talk you that where I did go.

Boston Downtown

I don't have to emphasize, everyone knows downtown is a big place to do shopping. This place is like a open shopping mall. You would be able to find either premium products or cheap products in downtown.

Newbury Street/ Prudential Mall

This place is pretty close to downtown. Someone would like to ask that why I separated this area with downtown. The reason is that value of products in this street is much higher than that in downtown. You won't be able to find GAP or Forever 21 in this area.

Newbury Street

Prudential Mall Address: 800 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02199

In addition, there is Prudential Mall near the Newbury Street. This mall also is a combination between mid-range products and luxury.

Natick Mall

Natick Mall Address1245 Worcester St, Natick, MA 01760

The Natick Mall is the biggest shopping mall in Massachusetts state. This place not only has largest land, but has biggest variety as well. In addition, there is a huge parking lot which doesn't like the paid parking in urban of Boston.

Assembly Square

Assembly Square

Assembly Square is a typical American shopping area, with free parking. The reason is that this area is integrating supermarket, discount market, furniture markets, and restaurants. However, this area is also different with typical American shopping area, because there are many brand outlets in the Assembly Square.

The Address:  1 Premium Outlet Blvd, Wrentham, MA 02093

I think I don't need to say a lot stuff about outlets. It is my favorite place to shopping. In this outlets, big discounts are normal deal. If you find some products are sold by original price, it is unusual. In the official website of Wrentham Outlets, you can see all brands which are included in this outlets area.

New Hampshire State

Maybe, someone would like to ask me why I put New Hampshire in this blog that introduce shopping area in Boston. The reason is that New Hampshire is DUTY FREE state! DUTY FREE! DUTY FREE! Important thing should be mentioned three times. In addition, you only drive around 1 hour to New Hampshire shopping area. I usually went to Nashua because there are premium outlets and shopping mall as well.

Merrimack Premium Outlets Address80 Premium Outlets Blvd, Merrimack, NH 03054

Finally, I would like to push my blog that How to Get Car in Boston again, because mostly international students and travelers don't have car.
